Professional Experience:
Mr. Pringle practices civil/commercial litigation in state and federal courts. He has represented clients in:
- Multi-defendant antitrust class actions and other complex multi-party antitrust litigation, state and federal antitrust enforcement actions and investigations and Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification matters;
- Environmental litigation and administrative proceedings before environmental regulatory agencies;
- Litigation involving the rights of secured creditors in both local and international transactions and commercial tort claims;
- Litigation involving constitutional and other limitations on governmental agencies and municipalities; and
- Trade disparagement, trade dress and unfair competition cases.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Pringle served in the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice from 1977 through 1983, where his practice focused on monopolization litigation, patent misuse cases, merger evaluation, merger litigation, and matters involving the interface of antitrust law and policy with the patent, trademark and copyright laws. From August 1976 to August 1977, Mr. Pringle served as a law clerk to the Honorable William P. Copple, United States District Court for the District of Arizona.
Legal Education:
Mr. Pringle received a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University College of Law in 1976. He served as a Comment Editor on the Arizona State Law Journal and as a student tutor to minority students in civil procedure and constitutional law. He was a Legal Writing Instructor at the law school during the Fall, 1976
