Charles H. Oldham joined the firm as an associate in 2003. Mr. Oldham graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2002. Following graduation, Mr. Oldham clerked for Justice Rebecca White Berch on the Arizona Supreme Court.
Mr. Oldham’s primary area of practice is commercial litigation with a focus on real property and landlord tenant disputes as well as collection matters. Mr. Oldham has represented landlords and tenants in forcible entry and detainer cases and breach of lease cases. Mr. Oldham has served as both lead and co-lead counsel in both jury and bench trials. Mr. Oldham has also been lead counsel on several appellate cases. Mr. Oldham also has experience in cases dealing with professional malpractice issues, business dissolutions, probate, and dissolution issues between unmarried co-habitants.

- As lead counsel, Mr. Oldham defended an automobile dealership, its principals and several employees in a $1 million dollar fraud case resulting in judgment as a matter of law following the plaintiffs’ case for the dealership and its principals and a defense verdict for the employees;
- Five successful appeals involving real property and title issues, including two published Arizona Court of Appeal decisions;
- Successful defense of an Arizona bank charged with wrongfully releasing client funds;
Mr. Oldham is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona and the American Bar Association. While attending law school, Mr. Oldham obtained memberships in the Order of the Coif, for academic achievement, and the Order of Barrister, for achievement as an oral advocate. Before attending law school, Mr. Oldham was an enlisted member of the United States Navy as a quartermaster, deep sea diver and military free-fall parachutist. |
