Mr. Coffman is a shareholder in the firm. He joined the firm in 1987 and practices primarily in the area of employment law. His employment practice includes the representation of private businesses, tribal entities, including casinos and telephone companies, and municipalities. Mr. Coffman's practice emphasizes advising and defending employers in employment related law and litigation. His experience includes: conducting investigations; handling discrimination charges; and defending all types of employment-related litigation in state, federal and tribal courts.
Mr. Coffman received his undergraduate education at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with honors in 1980. Mr. Coffman earned his Juris Doctor degree (with distinction) from the University of Arizona College of Law in 1987. In 1986-87 he served as an Editor of the Arizona Law Review.
Mr. Coffman is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in Arizona and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona and the American Bar Association. Mr. Coffman is also a member of the Employment Law section of the Arizona State Bar.
