Serves as principal attorney for the Town of Queen Creek and as General Counsel for the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) and the Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (NAIPTA).  With other members of the Firm provides  legal  services on a project basis to municipalities with in-house legal departments on a variety of matters, including land use, elections, open meetings and public records.  Represents individual and corporate clients in their dealings with local governments on real estate and land use matters.   Lectures frequently on topics including the Arizona Open Meeting Law, Conflicts of Interest and Public Records Law.

Deputy City Attorney, 1990 -1994:  Responsible for day to day management of legal department; participated in hiring of professional and administrative staff; attended City Council meetings in the absence of the City Attorney; advised Community Development Department, City Clerk, Human Resources, and Purchasing Department.

Assistant City Attorney, 1984 – 1990:  Served as principal attorney to Community Development Department, and as counsel to Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment; Represented City as plaintiff and defendant in land use litigation
