James S. Rigberg is a shareholder with Mariscal, Weeks, McIntyre & Friedlander in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr. Rigberg represents commercial property owners and developers, homebuilders, and business owners in Federal and State Court litigation involving title issues, construction/engineering defects, payment disputes, business dissolutions, and lease defaults. Mr. Rigberg also has extensive experience in cases dealing with trademark and copyright infringement, restrictive covenant enforcement, professional malpractice defense, and probate matters. Mr. Rigberg has served as both lead and co-lead counsel in many jury and bench trials, arbitrations, agency hearings, and appellate cases.

- As co-lead counsel, obtained dismissal of $11 million trademark infringement claims in a “bet-the-company” arbitration proceeding.

Mr. Rigberg received his B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1990 and his J.D. from the University of Denver, College of Law in 1993. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and before the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.
