Mr. Brown's practice focuses upon commercial litigation, trials and appeals with an emphasis on real estate, title and escrow liability lawsuits, and defense of professional liability claims. Mr. Brown’s experience includes:
- Representation of the largest Arizona title companies and their insureds in the defense of escrow and title liability claims.
- Preparation of appellants’ briefs in Lavidas v. Smith, 195 Ariz. 250, 987 P.2d 212 (App. 1999), in which the Arizona Court of Appeals reversed the entry of summary judgment granted to opposing party.
- Preparation of the appellees’ briefs for published decision in Urias v. PCS Health Sys., 211 Ariz. 81, 118 P.3d 29 (App. 2005), in which the Arizona Court of Appeals affirmed summary judgment granted in favor of the firm’s client.
- Obtaining judgment for and recovery of more than $2.6 million for client in commercial litigation against a major national mining enterprise.
