The Construction Law Group handles all facets of the construction industry including representing owners, developers, contractors, suppliers, bonding companies and design professionals in drafting of contracts and preparing, pursuing, defending and resolving construction claims.
Members of the firm have also been engaged by state and municipal governmental agencies to represent their interests on various public works projects. Furthermore, as a consequence of our active involvement with construction claims, we have had the opportunity to frequently work closely with numerous local and national claims consultants.
Members of the firm are actively involved in claims resolution through the court system, arbitration, mediation and other ADR procedures. The firm has represented clients in virtually all aspects of construction disputes (including matters involving bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, and license bonds). The broad range of public and private projects with which the firm has been involved includes the construction of various waste treatment facilities, schools, auditoriums, prisons, jails, parking facilities, office buildings, apartments, hotels, motels and shopping centers throughout the states of Arizona, California and Nevada; the renovation and expansion of a major hotel in Tyson's Corner, Virginia; bid protests on numerous public works projects (with the State of Arizona, school districts, City of Scottsdale, City of Phoenix, City of Tempe, City of Mesa, City of Chandler, City of Tucson, and other political subdivisions), construction of municipal buildings, including office buildings, prisons and jails; the rehabilitation, expansion and converter modification at copper mines; and design, construction and modification of petrochemical facilities. Our work has involved Indian Land Development Bonds, Industrial Development Authority projects, Miller Act suits and Arizona Little Miller Act suits.
